As a result of the success of the logistics project for the A400M aircraft and the Light&Medium (C295/CN235) of Airbus Defence & Space until the year 2023, we dispose a provisional center at Aerópolis Technology Park (Seville) until the final opening of the one that is being built in the same location.
The contract covers the definition and construction of a logistics center of 8.500 sqm, as well as the necessary equipment to provide logistical services for the assembly of the emblematic A400M, the CN235, CN295 and to the FAL (Final Assembly Line) programs of Airbus next to San Pablo Airport in Seville.
On May 5, 2008, this new logistics center becomes operational. The project includes the first complete logistics outsourcing carried out by Airbus Defence & Space to cover the assembly of 100% of its own aircraft assembled in Seville. To this end, it has been established a methodology that allows LTK to organize the operations of the External Logistics Center of the A400M, regardless of the phase of the program, both development and serial production.
